Joint’s jumping: Texas City has some new bragging rights — it’s home to the largest trampoline park in the United States. Last week, Friendswood attorney and developer Jerome Karam opened the 55,000-square-foot Altitude Trampoline Park franchise at the Mall of the Mainland, 10000 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway. Trampoline parks are popular with children, and with adults seeking fun fitness options. The indoor park will offer vacation Bible school days, exercise days, birthday parties and video games. D’Onta Foreman, a Texas City native and University of Texas All-America running back, attended the grand opening festivities.
Karam and an out-of-state partner acquired the mall in 2015 and immediately began redeveloping it.
